It's match day!. Two teams battle it out for those all important 3 points. Could they take your team to the top of the league?, get you out of the relegation zone?, or is it a local derby where pride overshadows the teams league position or even a Championship Cup progression. The choice is yours with this Football /Soccer asset Pack. :)

The Pack includes:

* Red Team Player Sprite Sheet with animations frames for:

* RUN (dribble) * SLIDE TACKLE * KICK  - ( 8 directions N , NW, W, SW, S, SE, E, NE)

* CELEBRATION - ( 2 directions N, S)

* Blue Team Player Sprite Sheet with animations frames for:

* RUN (dribble) * SLIDE TACKLE * KICK  - ( 8 directions N , NW, W, SW, S, SE, E, NE)

* CELEBRATION  - ( 2 directions N, S)

* Referee Sprite Sheet with animation frames for:

* RUN - ( 8 directions N , NW, W, SW, S, SE, E, NE)

The Pitch are also available in tile set form, and can be tiled 8x8 or 16x16

These assets have been created using a NES colour palette and keep within the limitations of a NES so you can create a genuine looking retro game.

Thanks, Enjoy! :)

Hi! Is there a way to add payment options other than PayPa l?

not currently, sorry. You could try gamedevmarket, you can use card there I think.

Hello, i cant find how to message you in dm! But thank you for following!!!

Please could you help me understand what license terms you are selling these assets under?  for example https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

Hi, you can use the assets in commercial and non commercial projects. If you make modifications and you share them you must use the same license, CC-BY-SA or CC-BY-.4.0, and credit me ‘Chasersgaming’.

There is some confusion over my licensing, for which I am trying sort, and will hopefully have that sorted with the newer works. I originally set my license for CC-BY-SA, but itch does not include it as an option, so I had to select CC-BY-4.0 in the metadata as this was the closest.

That said this particular asset(footaball) is CC0, public domain so you are free to use how you want for what you want, commercial, non commercial, make modifications,edit etc with no credit necessary, although always appreciated.:)

Hope that helps. :)

Thank you!  I didn't realise there is metadata and even now you mention it, I still can't find it lol

Anyway thanks so much for clarifying!

Yo mate, this is Daytona675x and I bought your great NES soccer sprite sheet quite a while ago when I started my Amiga soccer game project. For my needs I had to edit it a bit, mostly to get rid of the black outline; in my game the sprites are zoomed and the outline didn't work too well in that special case :)
Anyway, I just wanted to thank you and tell you that I put you into the credits, of course.
It's still wip but getting close to be finished, if you want to take a look:

Wow,  for the Amiga! You've done some great work there. congratulations and thank you for crediting me, and letting me know. It always so good to see my assets getting used. :0 love the sound track too. :)

Well, you deserved it :) I'm really glad you like it. The soundtrack was made by a demo-scene friend of mine (Triace / Desire) who's also rather famous for his 8bit Atari chiptunes.
If you want to put some personal greetings or whatever in the scroller, just tell me!

Hi, I'm a teacher at the university and I'd like to use your sprites for a project. If I buy the asset, is it okay to share it with the students ?

Hi there. Yes that's fine. :)

As someone who can't do art good, this pack was very useful, and I was looking at the other sport packs, too.

Like RewdanSprites below, I used them for a Game Jam game.

Awesome! Thanks for using them please leave a link to your game if you can, il have a go, and I’m sure others would like to see the assets in use. All the best :)

Here you go: https://silversmind.itch.io/sportsball-do-the-thing-win-the-points

I had to do some custom art, but it's not nearly on the level of the art you made.

So glad I found the football assets made by this creator. Not only from itch as well. I used a few of these assets in a game jam.

They've been perfect. The ref is a super star.

That’s awesome, glad you like them. What game jam? I’d love to see what you did. :)

Let me know what you think! Cheers!

You really like NES style! Will you ever consider other styles? Very good job!

I do love retro consoles. Grew up with those ones!. 8 bit ,nes,sms,gameboy to begin with and then il move onto the 16bit at a later date. Still finding my feet.:) thanks for the nice comment.:)

No, thank YOU for sharing your art with us. :)

Bought the assets, I was satisfied. Thanks! :)

That’s great, thank you.:)  without sounding like a plug, if you plan on getting any more of my assets in the future, you might consider supporting me on Patreon. For $1 a month all my ‘premium’ assets I release are free.:)

they are taking me to a sketchy website and want me to insert a coin

Is that supposed to happen?

lol , it's my Patreon page, 'Insert Coin' is a perk, it's  a support page. a lot of creators have them. :)

the patreon site is here so if you want you can read about what it is: https://www.patreon.com/
